Protocols

The scientific and practical foundation of the Phil Lab Method.

A library organised by goal and condition, built from individual assessment, scientific evidence and leading international guidelines.

It is not a list of standard exercises. It guides exercise type, dose, progression, gym work and continuity in daily life.

There is no one-size-fits-all protocol. There is a method for turning evidence into the right exercise for that person, at that moment.

The three areas

Protocols is not a fourth programme.

It is the scientific and practical library behind programmes in all three Phil Lab areas.

Protocol map

Three areas, one common language.

Each protocol follows the same structure: goal, work at Phil Lab, everyday integration, progression and monitoring.

01 — Lasting Performance

Build physical capacity that lasts.

Strength, endurance, mobility, flexibility and proprioception are developed from individual assessment, with progressive load and appropriate recovery.

02 — Clinical Impact Exercise

Programmes organised by health condition.

Exercise is tailored to functional capacity, clinical context and medical guidance where appropriate. Phil Lab is a gym, not a medical or rehabilitation centre.

03 — Movement & Lifestyle

Feel better in your body and your day.

Programmes address the effects of sedentary routines, persistent tension, low energy and chronic stress through appropriate movement.

Scientific sources and guidelines

Sources, not promises.

Our framework draws on WHO, ACSM, ESC, ADA, NICE, OARSI, EULAR, Cochrane Reviews and leading international scientific societies. Published outcomes are evidence, not individual guarantees.

Final note

The protocol sets the direction. The programme is built around the person.
